English Journal Cassette Tapes (April 1991 - March 1992)

These are cassette tapes from the early 1990s issues of English Journal and Hearing Marathon.
This sale is for the cassette tapes only; there are no accompanying booklets with transcribed audio.

Personally, I believe English Journal from this era is an excellent English learning resource.
I myself studied using the same materials in the 90s, and recently, I've come to miss those old materials. I've been collecting back issues in sequential order through various auctions.

The cassette tapes I'm offering for sale now were collected this way. I've digitized all the English Journal tapes using an MP3-converted cassette player and listen to them casually in my car. As a result, I haven't encountered any tapes with breaks or significant magnetic degradation that would make them difficult to listen to (however, I haven't checked the HM Coach tapes).
I believe they are still perfectly usable as audio sources for listening to a large volume of natural English.

Please understand that as these are items over 30 years old, some cassette cases may show noticeable yellowing, and some tapes may contain minor noise.
Also, while I've never had any issues with my own cassette player (a Chinese-made model costing a few thousand yen, new: https://item.rakuten.co.jp/sanwadirect/400-medi002/?s-id=ph_pc_itemname), I cannot guarantee that they will play correctly on other players.
Therefore, please understand that this is a no-claims, no-returns sale.
