Description
The Fender Japan JV serial period is gaining popularity, second only to the JV period as Japan Vintage.
Along with popularity, prices are also rising at an incredible pace.

This listing is for the neck of a PB57-55 Precision Bass from the E serial period.
It comes with bushings.

Generally, E serials are said to be made between 1984-1987.
The neck has 10-30 85 written in pencil, and it is presumed to have been manufactured on October 30, 1985.

Based on the E5 serial number of this neck, my personal impression is that the E in E serial might represent the 80s (Eighty), similar to USA serials, with the following numbers indicating the year.
(In the case of this neck, it would be a 1985 model.)

It appears to be a one-piece maple neck.
As it is from the highly regarded E serial period, the wood selection is good, and the grain is beautiful.

As it is a used item, there are minor scratches and dirt, but none of them will affect its use.

The frets have about 70-80% remaining, with some string marks, but they should be fine for practical use.

The neck has a slight back bow when no strings are attached, which is considered ideal condition.
The truss rod has room for adjustment in both directions.

The bushings are either glued or I couldn't remove them with my skill, but they can be reused as is and should be fine for practical use.
I've heard that adhesives used for guitars and basses can be removed with heat, so they might come off if heat is applied.

No accessories included.

Packaging:
It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a cardboard box.
