Fabio Dalla Costa Violin Italy
This is an extremely rare violin made in 1993 by Fabio Dalla Costa.
It features Hill-style pegs, a titanium tailpiece, and Obligato strings. The area around the endpin has delicate and intricate decorative work (image 6), indicating its special nature.
Over 30 years have passed since its creation, and carefully selected wood, dried for over 30 years, was used. Special attention was paid to the varnish. This violin offers the stability of aged wood, unlike new instruments, and is truly ready to be enjoyed.
Fabio Dalla Costa is a Cremonese maker who trained in the workshop of Gio Batta Morassi and has received high acclaim in international competitions. His instruments are characterized by their refined form and beautiful varnish. After graduating from the Cremona Violin Making School in 1984, he trained in the CEE workshop led by Gio Batta Morassi until 1988, where he achieved success in making competitions.
