ー□■ How to Choose a Ferrule ■□ー
① Determine the outer diameter of the ferrule.
Measure the hosel diameter and choose a size that is approximately +0.2mm larger.
→ It will finish beautifully if you shave it down to eliminate any step and finish with acetone.
② Determine the inner diameter of the ferrule.
Choose based on the TIP diameter in the specifications table published by the shaft manufacturer you are using.
→ Generally, a ferrule about 0.1mm smaller than the inner diameter is inserted and glued, but if you have a preferred design, you can also use a larger one and finish with adhesive.
③ Determine the ferrule design and height.
Choose according to your preference.
