Rare/Unique Item! For Leica LM Ring, Gold Plated, Gold Color

This is a very rare, gold-plated, golden LM ring for Leica.
It features a notched (semi-cut type) design, making it very easy to remove this ring from an M-body camera when using a rear lens cap with three protrusions.
(As shown in the last photo, the protrusion fits into the semi-cut area, allowing for easy removal from the body. Please note that the cap is not included in the product.)
Furthermore, this feature prevents interference when attaching older lenses with infinity lock levers to newer M-mount cameras (including digital Leicas).
Specifically, it resolves issues that occur with old lenses such as the Elmar 50mm F3.5 (collapsible/fixed), Elmar 3.5cm F3.5, and Summaron 35mm F3.5.

I have collected many genuine and generic LM rings over the years, but this one, made of brass with a gold plating, is rarely seen.
While some Soviet-made cameras, like the Leica Barnack, have cheap gold plating, this ring is manufactured with the precision of genuine or Japanese-made products.
When viewed from the back, its precision is so high it could be mistaken for a genuine Leica product.
A genuine Leica LM ring weighs 12-13g, and this one weighs 12.5g.
As it is not a recent item, it is unlikely to be made in China, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this.
This is an LM ring that Leica collectors will surely appreciate.

The L-L39-M is a mount adapter (LM ring) for using L39 mount lenses on Leica M-mount cameras. Typically, the main body is made of brass with chrome plating for excellent texture and durability, and the mount part is machined with high precision.
This one has gold plating where chrome plating is usually applied.
It is unclear whether the plating is with real gold.
It is possible that the brass is left as is and not plated.
However, it has a very beautiful golden color, so I believe it is plated.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.

LM rings come in three types depending on the lens: for 28/90mm, for 35/135mm, and for 50/75mm.
When using on models without bright frame support, such as mirrorless cameras, any of these can be attached and used without issue, regardless of focal length.
