A combat flight simulation game set in Western Europe during World War II. While previous titles focused mainly on dogfights between fighter planes, this third installment features bomber operations, increasing the importance of bombing missions.

Players can take on the roles of bomber pilots, bombardiers, or gunners. The campaign mode offers various scenarios, such as battles between bombing units aiming to destroy ground targets and fighter units attempting to intercept them. The terrain data mesh has been refined from 1 kilometer in the previous game to 120-meter units, and ground objects and scenery are recreated based on GPS data and historical records. The beautiful and detailed graphics provide a high level of immersion, and the perceived speed is astonishingly realistic.

Players can pilot 34 types of aircraft from 18 different models used by Britain, the United States, and Germany. This includes the experimental flying wing Go 229 and the P-80A Shooting Star, which were not deployed in actual combat.
