Description
This is a Bulgheroni piccolo, model 501-R Cocobolo, crafted by Italian artisan Luigi Bulgheroni and imported and distributed by Yamano Music. It is made from cocobolo wood and silver.

I received this item as a gift and am not very knowledgeable about wind instruments. I confirmed with Yamano Music that due to being left unused for about two years, it would cost several tens of thousands of yen for proper maintenance to use it effectively. However, they assured me it can be used properly with adequate care.
I had it appraised just in case, and a music store offered a considerable price, though I cannot disclose the exact amount due to my lack of expertise.
As I am unsure of its true value, I have decided to list it here for now.

I purchased it at the Yamano Music Ginza Main Store, but I have misplaced the sales certificate and warranty. Therefore, only the items shown in the photos are included.
It appears that a part where the body connects is missing. I was told that a generic replacement part can be purchased for around 2,000-3,000 yen.
I apologize for my lack of specialized knowledge.
If you have any questions about specific areas, I will do my best to investigate within my capabilities.

I purchased it about three years ago. Currently, a new one sells for approximately 1.2 million yen.
Used ones are rarely available due to their rarity, but given the rising prices, I estimate they would sell for around 700,000 to 800,000 yen.
I would like to sell it to someone who will cherish it for a long time and appreciate its value. If I cannot find such a buyer, I plan to sell it to a music store. I will list it here until the end of this week.
Please understand that there is a possibility of withdrawing the listing.

Below is a description of the product:

Bulgheroni's workshop is located near Lake Como, a renowned scenic spot in northern Italy.
Italian craftsmanship is known for producing world-class fashion items, leather goods, and musical instruments like Stradivarius violins, boasting exceptional design and quality.
The exquisite finish of Italian woodwork, which is also characteristic of those violins, is evident in this piccolo.
The sound, a blend of the bright and brilliant tone of cocobolo wood and the mellow resonance of silver, blends beautifully in orchestral performances and stands out in solo pieces. Its artistic beauty and exceptional sound make it recommended for those seeking a unique piccolo.
