Ryo Okitsu
Graduated from Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. Completed postgraduate studies at Toho Gakuen School of Music.
Studied bassoon under Jun Ishii, Masayuki Okamoto, Mikiko Kawamura, and Tomoya Miyama. Participated in numerous masterclasses by world-renowned musicians.

In addition to performing as a guest musician with major orchestras and wind ensembles in Japan, and as a soloist, he is also gaining attention as a composer and producer.
He has also frequently participated in performances by overseas orchestras visiting Japan.

Composition and Arrangement: In recent activities, he premiered Concertante Symphonic Poem 'In the Vineyard' in C Major for Piano and Orchestra and Adagio for Strings 'Death of Jackal' at the Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, which were well-received. The aforementioned pieces were nominated for the 2025 Akutagawa Yasushi Suntory Composition Prize.
He has also premiered numerous commissioned works and his own compositions.

Production: He played a central role in the project for Member's Concert, a work by the comedy duo Members affiliated with Yoshimoto Kogyo, and was involved in a wide range of tasks including arrangement, performance, and orchestra management. This video has surpassed 3.2 million views on YouTube.
For the Japan Traditional Orchestra Yokohama Minato Mirai performance, he was responsible for all aspects of the concert, including planning, management, composition, arrangement, and performance. At the same time, he brought together stars from various fields, including Hideki Togi, Hisanori Ishida, and Members.
