Description
This patchwork was made from 100% cotton sarashi (unbleached cotton fabric).
Everything is hand-sewn.
It can be used either vertically or horizontally.
The plant-dyed fabric was created by pre-treating new sarashi with soy milk, then dyeing it using the bundle-dyeing technique, and finally mordanting it with alum.
Plants used for dyeing:
Butterfly pea
Roselle
Madder
Lemongrass
Onion skins
When washing, please use a neutral detergent (like Emal) separately from other items and dry in the shade.
As this is a handmade item, it is not perfect like a mass-produced product. We would appreciate it if you would purchase it if you like it.
*There are some faint traces of pink chalk pen remaining, but they should disappear after a few washes.
*The item has been ironed, but it wrinkles easily.
*The item will be shipped folded.
*Shipping will only occur on weekdays.
*Recycled materials will be used for packaging.
