I purchased this about 3 years ago for a cat bed, but my cat sleeps in various places, so it was only used for one winter and has been stored since.
Power has been confirmed. It is not a rapid heating type; it is designed to gradually increase in temperature. There is no temperature control function. Plugging and unplugging the cord turns it on and off.
The cover has been home-cleaned before listing, but please forgive any minor hairs that cannot be removed. The main unit is in good condition.
