● Kaikado tea caddies have a double structure, with tin used on the inside.
● The tin used for Kaikado tea caddies is made from tin plates produced using the traditional dobuzuke (hot-dip tinning) method. Unlike regular tin, it has a slightly dull finish rather than a completely mirrored surface.

● The material of the tea caddy is sensitive to moisture, so please do not wash it with water. Also, do not touch it with wet hands. If moisture gets on it, wipe it immediately with a soft, dry cloth.
● Avoid storing it in the refrigerator, as the humidity and moisture levels are high.
● Gently rub the entire surface with your palm every day. You can enjoy the unique luster and color changes of the material over time. Be careful not to touch only certain parts, as this can cause unevenness.
● When opening the lid, hold the upper part as much as possible. It can be opened without force. This also prevents deformation of the lid.
● When closing the lid, align the seam of the lid with the seam of the body. Simply aligning the seams will allow the lid to close naturally.
