The transfer and sale of unsprouted Encephalartos seeds are not subject to regulation. However, the transfer of sprouted seeds and seedlings is subject to Ministry of the Environment regulations, so please understand this.
Floating test passed seeds

The floating test was conducted by soaking the seeds in water for two days and confirming that they sank.
The seeds may float immediately after shipping due to dryness, but they will normally sink after soaking for 1-2 days.

Sowing method
Seeds often die if mold grows on them, so be sure to sterilize them with a fungicide like Benlate or mold remover before sowing.
Mold can enter if the shell is broken, so we strongly recommend sowing them whole.
After sowing, maintain a stable temperature of around 25-28°C.
Keep the seeds constantly moist, ensuring they do not dry out.
If mold appears, re-sterilize the seeds.
