The Mimosa tree (Nemunoki) is a deciduous tree belonging to the legume family.
Also known as Nem, Nebu.
It blooms with beautiful pink flowers as shown in the photo. It is known for its nyctinasty, where its leaflets close and droop at night.

It can be planted in a wide range of locations, from full sun to bright shade, but it will bloom better with plenty of sunlight. It does not particularly choose soil as long as it is well-draining.
For potted plants and trees planted in the garden for less than two years, water thoroughly when the surface of the soil dries out. Trees planted in the garden for more than two years do not require special watering.

Sowing seeds: Collect seeds from ripe pods in autumn, store them, and sow them from mid to late March of the following year, covering them with 2-3mm of soil. Soaking the seeds in water overnight may improve germination.
Lightly cover with soil and water from above with a spray bottle to keep it moist until germination.
