This is a specimen of the Red-necked Longhorn Beetle collected in 2024.

This is a type of longhorn beetle that gathers on wood such as Konara oak and runs around at considerable speed. It is said to mimic the Japanese Carpenter Ant and the Velvet Ant, and its movements are quite similar, making it an interesting species.
