This is a hand-forged blade from a blacksmith. Unfortunately, the maker's mark is unreadable, but the craftsmanship is meticulous and of high quality. It is quite old but in good condition, almost unused. The blade still has plenty of edge, so it can be used for a long time.

This is a professional-grade, Japanese-made tool. As it is very old, the base metal and other materials used are of good quality, making it a valuable item. The sharpness is surprisingly excellent.

The blade width is 3mm. Approximately 1 bu (a traditional Japanese unit of length). It is easy to handle and very useful to have.

It has been sharpened and is ready for immediate use.
