This is a parrot-type vise plier.
It is an ideal tool for fixing stabilizer links that spin freely.

A tool used for gripping, fixing, and removing parts in automotive maintenance and mechanical work.
The tip has a shape like a parrot's (bird's) beak and is designed to grip the object at three points.
The gripping surface has serrations, making it difficult for gripped objects to slip.

Removing stripped screws (screws with worn heads).
Removing stabilizer links (car suspension parts) while preventing them from spinning.
General work of gripping and turning long, thin parts like pipes.
General work of temporarily locking and holding objects that need to be fixed (clamping and holding).

Please note that there may be slight differences.

When locked in the free state, the lower jaw will lock slightly to the left (see photos 5 and 6).
When you lightly hold the lower jaw with your hand, it will lock with a straight bite (see photo 7).
We use this in the field and have had no problems with its use.
