For Mr. Ni*T: Specimen Box, Large German Box, Cork, Approx. 51x42x6 (with defects/flaws)

This is a large German insect display box that was stored long-term at my parents' home.
It is a used item that previously held insect specimens.
Manufacturer unknown.
Size (cm): Approximately 51 x Approximately 42 x Approximately 6

Scratches on the glass surface (to the left of the sticky note).
Pinholes on the cork surface and a faint smell of insecticide.
Scratches, splinters, dents, and dirt on the wooden parts.
The biggest issue is the gouged scratches and gaps at the corners.
It may be usable if repaired with wood glue, putty, etc.

I cannot show everything in detail, so please check the condition by enlarging the images. We are looking for someone who can utilize this item with the understanding that it requires repair.
