Thank you for viewing our attractant 2! This set includes approximately 500ml of Japanese honeybee attractant liquid, a bonus of approximately 50g of beeswax, approximately 100g of hive debris, and instructions.

☆ Last year, we set up 30 waiting hive boxes. We had 21 natural entries and 5 forced captures, for a total of 26 successful captures.

By applying beeswax to the entrance and inside the ceiling of a hive box for capturing Japanese honeybees, and then spraying or brushing on the attractant liquid, you can increase the probability of capturing swarming or wild colonies of Japanese honeybees.

If there is a Japanese honeybee nest near the hive box you are using for capture, spraying the attractant liquid will attract scout bees with its scent.

Tips for capturing Japanese honeybees:
☆ 1. Proper placement of the hive box.
If you are not getting entries, changing the location can lead to immediate captures. Site selection is crucial.

☆ 2. Creating a hive box that scout bees will like.
New hive boxes are difficult for bees to enter, even with Golden Marigold (Kinryohen) or artificial attractants. Therefore, apply beeswax to the entrance and the inside ceiling of the hive box, and then brush on our secret attractant liquid inside the box.

Japanese honeybees prefer previously used properties. Applying beeswax and attractant liquid makes the hive box appealing to scout bees.
Furthermore, using it in conjunction with Golden Marigold (Kinryohen) can further increase your capture success rate.

When using the attractant liquid as a spray, it has been filtered, but the nozzle may become clogged. Please clean the nozzle or dilute the liquid with a cloth or brush for application.

Also, during the capture season, dilute the attractant liquid with water about 3 times and spray it around the hive box. Scout bees will be drawn by the scent.
Additionally, be aware that if the attractant liquid is applied too thickly and not allowed to dry sufficiently, it can lead to mold growth or attract ants.

If you will not be using the product immediately upon arrival, please store it in the freezer. Storing it at room temperature can cause mold or fermentation. When using, thaw it, take out the amount you need, and if you keep the remainder frozen, it can be used until around autumn.
