This is a calorie-rich substrate made from 100% oak sawdust, which Great Horned Stag Beetles prefer, and processed with the highest quality Himalayan Hiratake mushroom culture.

We have further refined the ordinary Himalayan Hiratake substrate into finer particles for easier consumption and added three times the amount of nutritional supplements, including trehalose, glucose, chitosan, royal jelly, high-activity gluten, arginine, calcium, minerals, enzymes, yeast, special amino acids, and symbiotic bacteria.

We do not use any discarded substrate. Instead, we use fresh sawdust to create new mushroom culture, which is then slowly fermented indoors.
