This product is a fully matured, egg-laying-specific mat made from 100% high-quality oak sawdust, which rhinoceros beetles prefer most. It is slowly and specially fermented indoors.

The additives used for fermentation are minimized, making it specifically designed for egg-laying.

To closely replicate a natural environment, we use sawdust that has been decomposed through a sterilization process, which enhances the rhinoceros beetle's egg-laying drive and promotes prolific breeding.

Furthermore, we do not use any spent mushroom substrate, ensuring 100% freedom from mixed-in pests.

Common inexpensive mats are made from spent mushroom substrate after mushroom cultivation, which is then fermented outdoors. This makes them prone to contamination with pests such as nematodes, earthworms, and fungus gnats, which can cause them to appear during breeding.

Our fermented mat is made by fermenting fresh oak sawdust indoors under strict control for a long period. Therefore, there is no need to worry about pests, and it can be used immediately without heat or freezing treatment.
