About the Brand:
Baccarat is a world-renowned French crystal manufacturer, so famous that it's often the first name that comes to mind when thinking of crystal. The history of its brilliance began in 1764 when a glass factory was established in Baccarat, a village in the Lorraine region, about 400 km east of Paris, with the approval of Louis XV. In 1817, full-scale crystal production began, and at the 1823 Paris National Exposition, the company received a gold medal for its high transparency and delicate cutting. Since then, it has been favored by royalty and aristocrats worldwide, including Louis XVIII.

The Empire wine glass is a luxurious series that features the opulent and structured form of Harcourt, Baccarat's oldest series introduced in 1841, adorned with heavy Empire-style gold decoration.

Harcourt, famous for its iconic design, has always been used by the icons of its time. The flat-cut portion of the bowl is skillfully decorated with gold patterns, and the rim of the glass is also painted gold.

The stem with its geometric bevel cuts remains original, but the hexagonal foot is finished with a gold rim. The glass possesses the brilliance of both clear crystal and elegant gold.

The Empire series also includes champagne flutes and highball tumblers.
The Rivoli series also features gold decoration.
