An ideal Bagua compass for Feng Shui and direction measurement.
This is what is called a Hōiban (direction plate) used in Kaso (house divination) and Feng Shui. Based on Kyūsei Kigaku (Nine Star Ki astrology), it is used to determine the auspiciousness or inauspiciousness of a building's floor plan and directions.
