This is a traditional Japanese lacquerware technique where the wood grain is highlighted by coloring it yellow or crimson, and then applying a highly transparent sukiiro urushi (transparent lacquer). This is a long tray characterized by its beautiful wood grain and amber-colored gloss.

This item has been stored at home for a long time. There are no major issues, but there are minor scratches and dents. Overall, it is in beautiful condition.
