This hanging decoration was made by remaking a pure silk kimono, wishing for the growth of children, with a summer theme, featuring swallows and morning glories.

★Swallows are said to be good luck when they nest in a house, as they eat pests during the crucial period for crop growth, helping the crops to thrive.★

★Morning glories have been loved by people since ancient times, are a symbol of summer, and are decorated with wishes for children's growth due to their vigorous growth.★

Bonbori (paper lantern): Approx. 4cm
Morning glory: Approx. 8cm
Swallows: Approx. 13cm (2 birds), Approx. 12cm (1 bird)
Kukuri flower: Approx. 1.5cm x 2cm
Total length: Approx. 102cm

The swallows' wings and tails, and the morning glory vines have wire inside, so their shapes can be changed. Please be careful not to injure yourself with any protruding wires.
The back of the morning glories are finished with shaded pure silk fabric, aiming for a realistic morning glory appearance.

This is a hobbyist's creation.
It is not perfect.
I have tried to sew and finish it carefully, but there may be uneven stitching, distortions, untrimmed threads, or glue marks.
