The rod is made of high-quality rosewood and is left unfinished, allowing the wood grain to be exceptionally beautiful. Its smooth texture provides a noticeably different feel compared to conventional sanshin when you hold it. The excellent glide of the high-quality rosewood rod makes it very easy to play.

The snakeskin is a genuine double-layered skin, stretched loosely to produce a beautiful low tone.

On sunny days, we recommend sun-drying the genuine snakeskin of the sanshin. This will also alter the sanshin's tone.

Additionally, instead of the usual plastic or bamboo komo (bridge), we use a cow bone komo which produces a better sound.

Equipped with a high-quality microphone, this sanshin can truly show its full potential during live performances and more.

The tips of the rosewood karakui (tuning pegs) where the strings are wound are handmade with resin for vibrant colors! Despite being handmade, the finish is beautiful.

The chiga (body) of the sanshin traditionally uses ordinary wood. However, for this chiga, we have luxuriously used high-quality rosewood, the same material as the high-quality rosewood rod. This results in a significant difference in sound quality! Please experience the beautiful tone that cannot be achieved with conventional sanshin.

The underside of the base of the sanshin's rod has been processed to further enhance the beauty of the sanshin's sound quality. The base of the sanshin rod is reinforced with both rosewood and ebony wood.

Videos have been uploaded to Yahoo Flea Market under Ryukyu Minyo Ee-Shi, so please check there to hear the sanshin's tone.
