This is a new bachi (pick) for the sanshin, made from red buffalo horn, boasting a beautiful luster and transparency unique to natural materials.

While often referred to as Dutch buffalo horn, it's said that this name originates from old import routes and doesn't imply the existence of buffaloes in the Netherlands. Therefore, we are using the more accurate term red buffalo horn for this product.

The item is new and unused, though there are slight scuff-like marks on the side. It was purchased as new from a musical instrument store and has not been used since, so it is undoubtedly new.
