●What is a half-collar?
A half-collar is an ornamental collar sewn onto the collar of an undergarment like a juban. It's a piece of cloth that covers the actual collar of the undergarment to protect the kimono from makeup and sweat stains.
You can wear it like a regular shirt, and it will appear as a half-collar from within your kimono, without needing to be sewn on.
