Description

This is a dedicated lead wire and screw set for DECCA Mk5 and later cartridges.
The ground wire is integrated for convenient connection.

★ Due to shipping method constraints, the lead wires will be shipped in a Ziploc bag only. If you require protection against damage, additional shipping fees will apply, so please inform us before purchasing.
★ The terminals of the lead wires are often made of copper alloys such as phosphor bronze, which are harder than regular soft copper. If you try to force them in too hard, they may snap at the base. (Compared to copper, they are harder and less ductile, making them more prone to breaking under impact.) Please use needle-nose pliers to gently push them in by gripping the flat part of the terminal tip, close to the insertion point.
The hole diameter at both ends of regular lead wires may differ from the start, even when unused. The mounting hole diameter also varies by manufacturer for cartridges and headshells, so they are often broken during installation. Please be careful. If it is too tight, please widen it slightly before inserting.

Although I have checked them myself, the terminals are harder than copper, making it highly unlikely that they would break or deform during regular postal delivery. I have also tested them assuming they might be dropped and stepped on, but they should be fine under normal circumstances unless intentionally damaged.
