This item is about 20 years old and has been stored away. I'm not very familiar with it as it's not mine, but the charging light turned on with the AC adapter. I inserted an MD and could hear sound from the speakers. The remote control also worked, and I was able to listen with earphones.
I apologize for my lack of knowledge, but I'm listing it without knowing if it's in working condition or considered junk.
