Fox Fury Headlight Fox Fury #1

This is a Fox Fury headlamp, an American-made product.
I forget the original price, but I believe I purchased it for around 20,000 yen.

The light functions well. It has 24 LEDs. It illuminates an area rather than a single point.
The silicone band has been replaced with a new one once.

It was developed for firefighting activities. The green LED is designed to blend in with green, making it relatively easy to see even in smoke.

I used to attach it to my helmet for work. Since I disliked it shaking during intense movements, I secured it in places with a glue gun. Some glue residue remains, but it can be removed with sufficient force. Also, the light can be adjusted up and down, but I had it fixed at the angle I wanted. It remains fixed in that position.
It requires 4 AA batteries. I used it with eneloop rechargeable batteries and also with alkaline AA batteries.

The strap that connected the cap for the battery compartment to the main body (presumably to prevent losing the cap, though it rarely came off in the field) is missing its middle section. This does not affect its use. In fact, it might be better without it.
