The CI Nose Rider is a traditional longboard design engineered to make nose riding easier. Created through a collaboration between master shaper Wayne Rich and surfer Devon Howard, this board maximizes your time on the nose while maintaining a lively and sensitive feel, representing the pinnacle of design and craftsmanship in its class.

The absence of edges on the tail maximizes grip during nose rides. The finely foiled tail with up-rails, the nose-riding rocker honed by Wayne over decades with the world's top longboarders, the nose concave, and other bottom contours blend perfectly.

While typical Nose Rider designs feature a wide (19 inches or more) nose outline, the CI Nose Rider is intentionally designed slightly narrower. This enhances trim on the high line and turns in bowl sections without compromising nose riding performance. The tail block width is also well-balanced, providing enough width to firmly support nose rides while being narrow enough to confidently turn in the pocket.

The CI Nose Rider features elegant resin colors laminated by hand and uses a custom redwood & basswood triple stringer. It has two layers of 6oz cloth on the deck and one layer of 8oz cloth on the bottom. The deck is finished with a polished coat, while the rails and bottom are finished with a finely sanded sanded gloss to prevent friction that can lead to speed loss, prioritizing performance.
