Surf Fishing Spots
Large horse mackerel often swim near the drop-offs on surf!
However, on surf, the main line is inevitably swept by waves. To minimize this, try to keep the main line away from the waves by setting your rod holder vertically and resting your rod on it!
Many anglers make their own rod holders for surf fishing.
I have some too, but they are all made of iron, which is heavy! They stick firmly in the sand, though!
For long casts on surf, you'll often need to cast with full force, so be mindful of the thickness of your sabiki rig's main line to prevent it from breaking.
