AKAI's stable pads are easy to press, making them suitable for live performance.
With 10 banks on the unit, you can control 160 pad layouts using just the device.
You can also freely change the layout and customize finger drumming to your preference.
Furthermore, you can assign a single sound source to multiple pads and apply detailed processing such as independent velocity and pitch, so you can have plenty of fun with just the built-in sounds.
For example, you can play with sounds like 808 kick and 909 kick assigned to different pitches to use as a bass, or create stable keyboard bass play by assigning a fixed synth bass sound to a keyboard layout with stepwise pitch changes and consistent velocity.

Additionally, you can sample original material onto an SD card by recording directly or importing from a PC, create multiple additional banks, and assign them to any pad.
As long as there is space on the SD card, you can even sample long sounds like entire songs.

This compact stereo sampler is versatile for music production and performance in studios and on stage, as well as for sound effects in events and theater.
It also features MIDI IN, allowing it to be used as a sequencer, and MIDI OUT, enabling control of other MIDI devices.

It is a standalone sampler that does not require a PC.
With free downloadable software, you can connect it to a PC for sound management.
