Freshly caught firefly squid from Toyama Prefecture, caught in the early morning of April 13, 2026!

(The morning paper seems to be off today, so I took a picture with the clock. We caught a total of 40L.)

Since they were scooped from deep water, they do not contain sand. (However, marine debris such as wood chips, seaweed, small fish, and similar species may be included.)

I caught these to eat at home.
Since I have extra to share with relatives, friends, acquaintances, and colleagues, I am selling them on Mercari.

As raw food is prohibited for sale on Mercari, I am reluctantly selling them as frozen fishing bait!
(It's a shame, as they are actually for humans to eat deliciously. Crying)
But if you catch a big one with them as fishing bait, you'll be like a Wasurabe Chojya! Haha

They are portioned into approximately 400g-420g packages and placed in Ziploc M-sized bags.
They are frozen flat for easy storage in the freezer and thawing.

The total weight will be under 5kg, so it will be shipped via Kuroneko Yamato cool delivery, size 80. To ensure the total weight including the cardboard box and packing materials is under 5kg, the actual net weight sold will be approximately 4.4kg.

Since Mercari shipping does not support cool delivery, please understand that shipping will be via Kuroneko Yamato cool delivery, cash on delivery.
