Gas cartridges are called gas cans or OD cans. When in use, the gas can is at the bottom and the burner head is at the top, forming a vertical structure. You then place a cooker on top to boil water or cook. However, many people feel that this setup becomes unstable and wobbly because heavier items like water are placed on top.

To address this instability, stabilizers exist as auxiliary parts (legs) that attach to the gas can. For a long time, these have almost universally been three-legged, with legs extending at a 120-degree angle from a central connecting part. While a three-legged structure is indeed an efficient and beautiful design that can form a plane with the fewest points, it's not ideal for tall items or uneven terrain in the field. While efficiency contributes to weight reduction, which is beneficial for mountain gear, the primary purpose of a stabilizer is to stabilize the cooking system, including the gas can. If miniaturization and weight reduction can be achieved, having more legs is perfectly acceptable.

The Clip Stabilizer attaches to the rim of the gas can. The legs are individual (1 piece, 2.5g) and ultra-lightweight, and their attachment position (angle relative to the gas can) can be freely adjusted. They are sold as a set of four, but you can use as many as you need according to your situation, allowing for flexible setup. Field surfaces, even if seemingly flat, often have subtle slopes, undulations, or obstacles (like pebbles). The true essence of the Clip Stabilizer lies in its ability to make fine adjustments by changing the attachment position or reducing the number of legs to accommodate these subtle slopes and undulations.
