This model recreates the 1962 style of Gibson's representative J-160E.
This model is inspired by the same specifications as the J-160E that John Lennon and George Harrison first acquired in 1962, and is an instrument that allows you to feel the unique tone that was at the core of The Beatles' early sound. Its charm lies in its distinctive sound, which coexists with box resonance and electric attack, unlike any other acoustic guitar. A characteristic feature is its slightly dry and warm tone, created by the combination of a laminate top (plywood) construction and P-90 pickups. The cohesiveness during chord strumming and the unique compression are unique to this model. While solid-top models are also popular recently, the original sound of the J-160e is undeniably plywood. Playing it, you truly feel the Gibson quality, resonating deeply within your chest. This particular unit is from 2015 and has seen little use, maintaining an overall very clean condition. There are few noticeable scratches, and both the neck condition and electronics are in perfect working order. It is a condition that will satisfy not only players but also collectors.
