■ Kanda Shokai! Established in 1948 (Showa 23), this long-established company handles not only domestic musical instruments but also famous brands from around the world! It is well-known that they produced and sold acoustic guitars under their own brand, Greco, in the 1970s. This item is a masterpiece from their original brand, Kanda, which was on par with Greco at the time! It is an extremely rare and superb item, manufactured by Fujigen, which was OEM at the time! Original price was ¥25,000 (current estimated value: ¥80,000 or more).

■ Exterior: The top has rice-grain-sized dents on the bottom and left side, but they have been repaired with urethane and the surface is smooth. There are also some linear pressure marks that appear when held up to the light. There are also a few paint cracks, but none of them seem to be noticeable. The side has a paint crack repair on the bottom of the right side, but it is in a part that is not normally visible and is not noticeable, so it does not seem to be a concern. The back has no particularly noticeable scratches and is a super clean unit! The top has beautifully aged to a caramel color, and it is made of extremely beautiful, dense, cross-grained Sitka spruce. The sides and back are made of mahogany, which is now extremely rare, and the body has a nice, super glossy finish, as if it were wet! It is a simple yet somehow elegant masterpiece! Please note that although it has been polished thoroughly, there are some minor hairline scratches due to age, but they are hardly noticeable. Also, the original pickguard was missing the hummingbird, so a new aftermarket one has been installed. Due to this, the size is slightly different, and the original marks are slightly visible, but it adds to its charm!

■ Fingerboard: The rosewood grain is very beautiful and shows no signs of use. Nine pearl-like square position markers sparkle!

■ Frets: Polished without rust or dullness. More than 80% remaining.

■ Neck: Straight.

■ Truss rod: Functions without any problems.

■ Saddle height: Approximately 3.6mm (center of the saddle). It has been reset with a new cow bone saddle!
