The fabric of this visiting kimono features a pattern of the 卍 character (Manji) in a Sayagata design, repeated in four directions. The entire garment has a gradient dye pattern and is a very elaborate visiting kimono incorporating Japanese seasonal plants such as chrysanthemums, plum blossoms, autumn leaves, cherry blossoms, peonies, pine, mandarin oranges, and paulownia, as well as waves.
I have paired this visiting kimono with a fukuro obi (formal obi) that harmonizes with the seasonal melodies it evokes. The combination is in tune with the theme of the kimono.
Perfect for entrance ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, weddings, shrine visits, and theater outings. Please consider it for daughters who have wedding plans.
