This piece was created to commemorate the collaboration between Joshua Vides and FENDI.
Joshua Vides has taken the street scene by storm with his artworks that transform everyday objects, including sneakers, into sketch-like creations using black and white markers.
He previously held a solo exhibition at Shibuya Miyashita Park, where the exhibited works and the silkscreen prints sold at the venue were in color, and the prices of his early works have soared.

Profile
Joshua Vides (born 1989) is an American artist based in Southern California. Captivated by streetwear and graffiti from a young age, he launched his first project, CLSC, in 2009. From 2009 to 2017, he worked as a designer, sales, and marketing manager for brands such as The Hundreds, The Seventh Letter, SSUR, and Complexcon, while also launching his own brand. In 2018, he began his long-held dream of working as an artist. In January 2018, he launched a new project called Reality to Idea, continuing to create works that envelop everyday objects through black and white mediums using his creative tools of pen and paper. Under the banner of Reality to Idea, Vides has collaborated with leading global companies such as FENDI, MLB, Google, and New Balance, and has held exhibitions in various cities across the United States. In 2021, he held a solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
