This bag is handmade from a remade antique obi (sash).
It can hold three shinai (bamboo swords) of 38 (117cm) or 39 (120cm) in length.

*Please note: As shown in the photos, if you use a do-bari type shinai (with a thicker body), it may not be possible to fit three swords.

◆ If using as a rolling pin case, a rolling pin close to the length of the shinai will fit best.
It is possible to fit a 90cm rolling pin, but there will be many folds.

◆ The bag is a pale yamabuki (mountain gold) color.
◆ There is dirt on the cord.

◆ The cord is made from an obi-jime (sash cord) (some are soft, some are firm).

As it is handmade, the finish may not be as refined as commercially produced items, but it is a one-of-a-kind piece, and we have made it with care, aiming for a beautiful finish.
We have tried to avoid major scratches and stains as much as possible, but please understand that there may be scuffs and fold creases due to age-related deterioration.
There may also be storage odors, sagging of the obi, uneven straightness, or slight inaccuracies in cutting.

This product uses a polyester obi, so it can be washed at home.
However, if washed too vigorously, there is a concern of losing its shape, so we would appreciate it if you could gently hand wash it.
