Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido in 1949. Debuted as an illustrator with the illustration lesson Teruo Sugihara Illustration Lesson in Gakken's Weekly Per Golf. Held a solo exhibition at Ai Gallery in Ginza in 1977. Held a solo exhibition at Yotsuya Gallery Mall in 1987. Held a solo exhibition at Royal Salon Ginza in 2000, and a solo exhibition at Royal Salon Ginza Gallery Bar nagune in 2009.
Has held the annual group exhibition Reiten at Royal Salon Ginza since 1998.
