The black bamboo base is commonly called Karasu.

● The sole is split into five parts, so it conforms better to the sole of the foot than general geta, providing an outstanding fit (flexibility).
● The sole is covered with sponge, making it non-slip and quiet.
● The upper material of the geta is finished by weaving bamboo bark, giving it a very pleasant texture.

Referred to as Yaore in the Kanto region, Mukade in Kyoto, and Goware by our company. This design existed since the Taisho era but was not produced. It has been revived in modern times with excellent rubber technology.

As this is a handmade product using natural materials, the wood grain, weave pattern, and color may differ from the photos.
Since the bamboo bark is woven one by one by hand, there may be marks from the weaving process (which may appear as scratches).
